Tips to Grow Long and Healthy Hair
Hair of course grows by itself, but it has the tendency to split and get tangled. You need to take proper care of your hair while bathing, sleeping, swimming…to ensure that it grows long and healthy. Here are some quick tips:
- While bathing, apply conditioner to the last 4 inches of your hair if you have straight long hair. If your hair is curly apply from root to the ends.
- Get a hot oil treatment 2 hours before bathing
- Use a wide-teethed comb to brush your hair when wet
- Do not blow dry or wring your hair when wet
- Never use coloring agents that has peroxide or ammonia
- Trim you hair once every two months to get rid of the split ends
- Let your hair loose or braid it properly while sleeping (depending on your sleeping habits)
- Water can also tangle your hair. Use a swimming cap or braid your hair while swimming
