Most women go through infrequent periods of mild depression. However when these periods of depression, become more than occasional; and if they occur during the fall and winter, you might be suffering from ‘seasonal affective disorder’.
Research has proved that 10 million women across the world experience at least one severe bout of depression in the course of their, which is caused by seasonal affective disorder. More than 75 percent of all people who suffer from SAD or seasonal affective disorder are women. The majority of women experiencing SAD are aged over 30. The symptoms of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) are:
